James Thie is an Olympic athletics coach, former Welsh and British international runner plus celebrated veteran runner. World of Words has been elated to receive visits from James and he has once again popped into speak to the children at Cwmclydach Primary School.
James who lives in Llanharan had cycled from his home to his college lecturing post at Cardiff Metropolitan in Cyncoed and from there he rode up to Clydach Vale in order to give up his time with an inspirational chat with the primary aged Rhondda youngsters.
James also offered one child a chance to win an Olympic pin badge on the basis of the best question asked and he was stumped for choice as there were a range of interesting and educated queries from the floor.
It was another special day for World of Words and we are ever so grateful to Mr Thie for his assistance.
