The presence of World of Words was at an extensive St. David’s Day celebration at the Cynon Linc, Aberdare. A www.worldofwords.education story and poem were central to the proceedings. The written contents were about St. David, an account of the Eisteddfod and its 1861 modern day birth in Aberdare plus there was a potted history of Wales. A copy of this WOW publication of our saint, celebrations, culture, emblems, the dragon and flag, the national name, costumes, food plus landscape features and much more sits on the pictured table at Cynon Linc – that is included with this article. This document was spread across a room of around 100 folks. The many recipients present enjoyed the extensive work undertaken to complete the research and write this account. The free copies provided through the event were taken home by a large number.
