It is many thanks to Daniel Townsend of Settled It Cymru for answering the call from World of Words (WOW). Bless this good guy for coming into Ton Pentre Junior School and leading a session of learning and laughter. From a blank canvas the two classes of Year 6 worked in groups, created their own stories, practised interviewing techniques and filmed these encounters. There was so much endeavour in a short afternoon session that the experience will flow into further gatherings.
Daniel has very kindly given up his time and shared his talents while allowing for the children to use microphones and recording equipment plus enhance their questioning skills. There were so many boxes ticked during the visit and the 47 youngsters involved had a chance to develop existing dexterity while sampling new opportunities.
Another WOW for WOW and many students have benefited from this influence as another exciting and entertaining role model has been successfully introduced. .
