World of Words is underway with its autumn 2025 programme with Cwmclydach Primary School and Ton Pentre Junior School on board. WOW has already run a successful family club during the summer, arranged for 10 families to watch Wales play football, had another 5 families make chocolate at The Chocolate House, Trehafod and is in talks for other projects.
WOW is also booked for a free Halloween reading and writing slot for 8 to 11 year olds at the Rhondda Heritage Park, Trehafod and please contact the venue for further details. WOW will also run a free session for the same age group at The Guild Hall, Llantrisant as part of the local Book Festival on the afternoon of Sunday, November 2. WOW is also in talks with The Wishing Well, Tonypandy about an event there for upper primary school youngsters and there are ongoing discussions about involving other schools.
WOW also has other prizes to distribute this term including a family Rhondda Heritage Park tour, further Wales football tickets, and hopefully pantomime passes secured.
